QUICK WAYS TO PERFECTLY FILL YOUR EYEBROW
Smart quick ways to attaining the perfect natural looking eyebrows.
Eyebrows really do frame our face, they are the most important facial feature we have and therefore the key to facial recognition. We could agree that features look best framed with bold natural eyebrow, some of us were blessed with beautiful eyebrows coupled with perfect arches, while others tend to beef theirs up to the natural brows with lovely arches.
When carving and filling your brows, be careful not to overdo it, because layering on dark pencil to create that full brow will end up making it look fake and sever, too thick and emaciated brows may take the centerstage and grabs people’s attention. So its best we stick to a colour as close to our natural brow colour. When the brows are defined and filled properly they bring out the eyes thus brightening the face.
Clean and dry the well carved brows make sure no strays of hairs disturbs.
Place your brush vertical to your nose to find where your brow should start also from the outside of your nose to the outer corner of your eyes to find where your brows should ideally end. It should be diagonal (45 degrees) from the outer corner of the eye.
Angle the brush from the outside of your nose to the edge of your iris to ideally create the arch of your eyebrow
Get your brow pencil or you can use your brow gel brush, underline the underside of your brow, start the underline from your tear ducts down to the end of the brow
Get the same brow pencil or gel brush and underline the upper side of your shaped brow starting from the tear duct as a referent of where your brows should start (it shouldn’t be too obvious)
Using your brow pencil, fill in between the lines with a dash-like (feathery) strokes from the end of the brow in the direction of your brow hair growth, softly fill in any sparse areas with same feathery stroke. This would make it appear fuller.
Now get your spoolie brush, or you could use same brow brush, brush out the eye pencil to soften any harsh line and blend out the colour.
NB; Getting the natural start of your brow, use your spoolie brush to comb through brow hairs that were not underlined/filled
Use a concealer, one shade lighter than your skin to clean up any mistake made or overdrawn lines and also to define the brow. Do this by getting your angle brush and apply to the bottom of your brows, blend the concealer downwards evenly.
Do same to the top of the brow, apply concealer to the brush and line up, blend upwards to get an even neat look.
The concealer makes every edges look sharp and clean, giving a professional definition to your brow and also highlights the brow.
